When rogue parkers occupy your space it’s frustrating and stressful. With Carparklock you don’t have to worry anymore, your parking space is always securely protected. Carparklock will put an immediate stop to unknown vehicles occupying your residential, commercial or office car space.

Can you explain how your car park barrier works?

The easy to use remote controlled parking lock operates from the convenience of your car. With the push of a button, you can lower your automatic parking barrier to lay flat, allowing you to drive into your car park space. When you leave your parking space, simply raise Carparklock to the upright position to prevent unauthorised vehicle access.

How long does it take for the barrier to raise and lower?

Carparklock only takes around five seconds to raise or lower.

How do I install my Carparklock barrier?

Professional installation is included in the price of your Carparklock. Free installation applies to capital cities and regional centres Australia wide. One of our friendly technicians will call out at a time that suits you to install the unit and explain how Carparklock works.

What is the height of the barrier when fully raised?

Carparklock stands 420mm tall when the barrier is fully raised.

What is the clearance height of the barrier when fully lowered?

When fully lowered the barrier has a low clearance height of 80mm.

What is the overall size of the Carparklock?

With the barrier fully lowered, Carparklock has the following dimensions – 520mm (length) x 450mm (width) x 80mm (height).

What is the weight of the Carparklock?

Despite its sturdy construction, Carparklock weighs only 8 kilograms.

Will Carparklock break if driven over accidentally?

While the unit should not be driven over, it can withstand a maximum weight of 500kg.

Is the Carparklock unit waterproof?

The Carparklock unit is waterproof and can be used both indoors and outdoors.

How do I know when the battery is going flat?

When the battery is getting low, the low charge warning light will turn on. Simply remove the battery and charge it overnight using the battery charger provided.

How long does it take to charge the base unit battery?

It takes approximately 10 hours to recharge the base unit battery.

What happens if someone tries to tamper with the unit?

A warning alarm will sound if the unit is tampered with.

Can I manually raise or lower the barrier arm (e.g. due to my remote having a flat battery)?

Should your battery go flat, the barrier can be lowered or raised by using the manual override key.

What is the warranty on Carparklock?

Carparklock comes with a 12 month warranty. If something goes wrong with the motor or parts (excluding batteries) during that time we will arrange to repair or replace the unit (collection and delivery charges apply).
